Low-ranger Lumia 530 announces today by Microsoft

“Another day, another low-end device,” for now, with the lack of high-end smartphone, this seems to be Nokia and Microsoft’s strategy. So, who is this new underdog? Here it is lady and gents, the phone that has been rumored since yesterday (and a few weeks before), the Lumia 530, and yes, it is running on Windows Phone 8.1.

Since this is the entry-level phone, let’s get the specification out of the way, the smartphone runs on a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 SoC, shows its contents on a 4-inch LCD display, 512 MB of RAM, 4GB of built-in storage (expandable via MicroSD), available in two editions, single-SIM and Dual-SIM, and in Bright Orange, White, and Dark Gray. So, what is so special about the phone? Well, it will be under 100 Euros, and that can possibly be the case with the US, under $100.

Also, T-mobile has made a statement, and ensure their users that they will be carrying this phone, and it will be available, on store shelves later this year.
