Well, since the release of HTC One M8, so far, the result has been positive. They are starting to not lose money, the One M8 sees some significant growth of sale compare to the One M7. Just like when you are gambling, once you’re on a roll, you won’t stop, and that is exactly what HTC is doing by releasing its new HTC J Butterfly, and this one actually sounds more compelling than the One E8 (or even the One M8).
HTC has just announced the J Butterfly, aiming at the Japanese market. On the look, this phone is a polycarbonate version of the One M8, almost of the specification are here from the M8. It has a 5-inch 1080p display, runs on a Snapdragon 801 SoC, WiFi 802.11ac, LTE-A enabled, 2GB of RAM, BoomSound and operates by Android 4.4 KitKat. The new thing here is the Duo-camera, with the main camera is a 13MP shooter and the waterproof body. For the camera, it has not been confirmed that it is the lens from the One M8, because as we know, the 13MP lens from One Mini 2 and E8 is actually not better (if not worse) than the One M8 at all.
Now, even know this phone is an exclusive device for this reason, the Droid DNA has been known for its influences from the Butterfly series, and we might see a new Droid DNA soon that would be similar to this J Butterfly.
