Microsoft prepares to release its first Microsoft Lumia next week

Teaser_632x432Well, after Microsoft formally confirms the new name Microsoft Lumia a few weeks back, we were wondering when the first device with such branding comes to our hand. Fortunately, the company did not let us wait long. On Microsoft’s mobile device PR page, Conversation, the company teases us with its first device bearing the new Microsoft branding.

As you remember, just a few days back, I reported (via Windows Central) that a new Lumia just passed through TENNA-China’s FCC- and will be on its way out the door and into the users’ hand. As of right now, this RM-1090 is the most likely to be announced at the event next week. To refresh your memory, the handset is rumored to feature a 5-inch qHD (quarter HD) display with the resolution of 960 x 540, bears GSM, 3G and HSPA connectivity.

One disappointing thing is that there is no trace of a real flagship ready to be launched at Microsoft. However, let’s hope that the company will surprise us next Tuesday.
