Well, with the fact that Apple is now legitimized the large-size handset, other manufacturers are pushing their device strongly into that direction. One example comes to mind is the Nexus 6 by Google and Motorola. This arena has long been dominated by Samsung, and with the competition raised to the new level, Samsung needs more devices to compete with others, including Apple. And it seems like Samsung understands that, as it appears that they are working on a 5.5-inch device.
The model, code named SM-G430, made an appearance in the India Zauba database. The document shows the device is a single SIM-slot device with a 5.5-inch display, bears the price tag of around $500. Digging in a little more in Samsung’s UAP collection, and the source found out that the display will be 1080p, with a mysterious chipset clocks at 2.5GHz. For now, the phone is running 4.4.4 Kitkat, but will probably change when the phone comes out, as Lollipop has been out for awhile now.
Now, the document did not specific the device into any particular series. The question now becomes what will it be, a Galaxy A, E, or J series? Let’s also not discard the possibility of having a completely new series. For now, we just have to wait until more information surfaced.
