It has been a month since Microsoft revealed the Window Phone 8.1 Update 2, which will be preloaded onto the Lumia 640 and 640 XL. But Microsoft did little to shed the light on which phone will be receiving it in the new future, at least before the release of Windows 10 in the late summer. Well, today, Microsoft confirms some devices will be getting the update in a Q&A session in the United Kingdom. The company reveals that the two phones showed at IFA last year, Lumia 735 and Lumia 830, will be receiving Update 2 (also known as GDR 2). But that is it. Microsoft did not mention any other device to receive the update. As of right now, these are the only two phones confirmed to receive the update in the near future.
