We’ve heard for awhile that Sony is already working on the successor for the Xperia Z2, the Xperia Z3. We’ve seen pictures, and leaked information from various sources. Well, today, another evident that support for the next model of Sony with an code name Sony D6653 makes an appearance on the AnTuTU benchmark site, and scored a hefty 37,169.
As an evidence of the commitment that Sony has made-release new device every 6 months-the company has been working on a new device. From the about page and the benchmark page showed, this Sony D6653 is most likely the Sony Xperia Z3. As of right now, the handset is running Android 4.4.4 for the test, and the About Page indicates that the phone features a “Qualcomm MSM8974PRO-AC” which is the Qualcomm snapdragon 801 SoC. This piece of information confirms previous rumors about Sony is holding the Snapdragon 805 and 810 for the Z4.
The launch could be held next month, or in September.
