Although in the State, we are happy with our Icon, but there are problems: One-it’s only on Verizon, Two-It’s only available in the US. So, what is up with the rest of the world? Well, today, the 930 is available globally, but not in the North America continent, well, not yet. The Lumia 930 will be available for all of our Canadians Windows Phone users through one of Canada’s carriers, Omega Cell in 2 weeks. The version they will be selling has special North America bandwidth, supports HSPA on 850/1700/1900/2100 frequencies and LTE on 700/1700/2100/2600. No words on price yet, but it is estimated to be around $700+ range for the Canadian market.
Update on the Lumia 930: We are holding out for the North American spec model for maximum compatibility. ETA is 2 weeks #Lumia930 — OmegaCell (@omegacell) July 7, 2014
