Microsoft Lumia 1330 surfaced with new details

Lumia 1320Surprise!!! Microsoft is preparing to release yet another mid-range device for you at MWC. Last year, around this time, we see the introduction of the Lumia 1520 and 1320, at the time was the only two phablet (and in many cases, still is) you can get. Well, while the sequel for the Lumia 1520 is nowhere to be found, we got some new tips on the sequel for the next Microsoft Lumia 1330?

The assumed Lumia 1330 will follow its predecessor as a mid-range phablet. The source reports that the handset will be featuring a 5.7-inch HD (720×1280) display. Underneath is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC, with 1GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage.

The important details are the fact that this will follow Microsoft’s trend of being an “affordable flagship,” meaning while the specification might just be “ehh,” the phone will sport the PureView lens, bringing a 14-megapixel sensor, as well as a 5MP selfie camera up front. Consider right now, the Lumia 1320 is packing a 5MP camera on its back and a 1.2MP front-facing camera, this is an enormous improvement.

Lastly, the source also hints at MWC for a release date, with Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2 (GDR 2 Lumia Denim) on board. The phone will also available in 4 different variants. However, with the lack of a true flagship handset, the question becomes: will anyone care about this device?
