Unlike any other manufacturer, LG starter flagship is a phablet. With a 5.5-inch display, many has wondered if LG want to blur the line between phablet and standard phones. However, some might prefer a smaller form factor, in the 5-inch range maybe? Well, it seems like LG has realized as well, as we just found some report indicates the existence of a certain LG G4.
Allegedly, the picture you see above is the smaller variant of the LG G4. In details, the phone will sport a 5.2-inch display, with the resolution ranged at 1920×1080. While this is a big hit on the resolution, it might just be for the battery, as it will [presumably] going down with the size.
In the optic department, the camera might also be downsize to half of the resolution, 8MP instead of 16MP. The bright side is that the laser focus technology is still here. The source also confirms the return of the G4’s viewfinder. Running it all is supposedly a mystery 1.5 GHz Octa core SoC, most likely to be Qualcomm. It is believed that it will be launching in late July, and we’ll learn more then.
