We all have been waiting for the Moto X+1, but launch date or even an event invitation is nowhere near to be revealed, and we are also very near to IFA 2014, which is where big OEMs like Samsung releasing ton of products. Apple is also rumored to have an event around IFA time, so Motorola wants to choose their time carefully before their glory got sucked out by Apple and Samsung.
The rumored date for Verizon launch is September 25, so the announcing date might be what was rumored earlier this year, which was September 23, or a few days back. The Moto 360 is also rumored to be launching the same date as the Moto X+1
