Wow, it seems like Samsung and LG can’t hold it back, even know we are just days away from IFA. For Samsung, the company has broken out of its norm, and decided to release this ahead of time instead of waiting for the Unpack 5 event. While LG doesn’t have any event so it is understandable why the company has to releases it this way. But without any further ado, here is the LG G Watch R and the Samsung Gear S.
Let’s start with Samsung, the device features a 2-inch curved Super AMOLED display and flexible band. Beside the usual Wifi and Bluetooth connection, there is also 3G connectivity, meaning that it can be a stand-alone device. The watch also has an on-screen keyboard, S Voice, ability to make and receive/ignore the call, as well as HERE navigation and health features are included. Overall, the Gear S might just be the Gear Solo that has been rumored for month.
Next off, we got the G Watch R, and we know why it’s name it that way. The smartwatch is a perfectly round watch, and this is another option for those who would like a round smartwatches, and don’t like the little cut off in the Moto 360. Spec wise, we are looking at a P-OLED 1.3-inch display that would utilize 100% circle (silently calling out the Moto 360), 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400, 4GB of built-in storage an 5.12 MB of RAM, along with other high-end specification for smartwatch.
So, anyone buying these two?
