As we know every year, with every new version of the Galaxy S, there are tons of variants of it launch shortly after. We saw AT&T launched the S5 Active last month, and we still question about its availability to other carriers, or international. Well, today, Sprint announces some new hardware variant of the Galaxy S5, the Galaxy S5 Sport.
The Galaxy S5 Sport although is a variant of the S5, does not look quite like S5 or S 5 Active or even the original S5. Exterior, the phone design with new texture engineered for the backplate to prevent dropping while doing a physical activity like running, climbing, or any other exercise. Although Sprint did officially announce it, the page did not mention if it has the certification of MIL-STD-810G or having a hardware button like the Active. But as you can see, appearance wise, changes are minimal. To sweeten the deal, the Galaxy Gear will be $50 off for the Gear Fit, or 50% off for selected sport headphones offered by the carrier.
