HTC software update map for Android L leaked

HTC has never been good with updating their Android software, and the company neglects many phones that are more than a year and a half old. However, the One M7 and M8 are the two phones that HTC is committed to support. As we know, the Google Play Edition for the M7 and 8 will get Android L for sure, but what about the stock, Sense 6 HTC One(s)? Well, today, we look at the leaked schedule for the HTC phone updates.

For the prep-update for Android L, 4.4.3 will be skipped, and all HTC devices on the list will only be receiving 4.4.4. The One M7 and 8 will see the updates comes in July or August. For the M8 Dual SIM, One Mini 2 and E8, they will receive updates in August or September. Android L updates should be coming to most of the 2013 and 2014 HTC’s Smartphones, however, that will be done by September or October due to the compatibility test for the hardware requirement of the OS.
