If you don’t know what the LG Vu is, I don’t blame you, because although it is a decent device spec wise, it is, without a doubt, one of the weirdest phone LG ever makes. In the past 2 years, as Samsung is dominating in the phablet space with its Note line, other OEMs followed by a wide range of selection. From low-end, to high-end; 5.5-inch to 6.5-inch; bad to worse, and the LG Vu is one of the weirdest. Took a different approach, LG built a 4:3 aspect ratio display with a stylus that does not live inside the device. You’re right, this device sucks, and is not surprising to anyone that Verizon took its down not long after announced that it will carry the phone.
Well, will LG make another VU? Well, the king of leaks, @evleaks latest tweet reveals to us that this line will possibly be replaced by a different set of devices goes with the name LG G Stylus. If this is the case, then we will see a change in form factor, and as the name suggests, it will sport a stylus of its own. This might just be LG’s attempt to get back into the phablet playground and this seems to be the device. What do you think? Does LG have a chance to compete against Samsung in this particular Arena?
