Back when Windows Phone 8.1 first announced, T-Mobile gave a statement shortly after that that the Lumia 925 and Lumia 521 will be getting the update over the summer. But what the heck? Summer is ending, and the fall is coming, so how is T-Mobile coming along with that plan? Well, one of the T-Mobile’s customer who is using the Lumia 925 has the same question, and T-Mobile shows up with an answer.
According to “JW” from T-Mobile USA’s Twitter account, Windows Phone 8.1 and Lumia Cyan updates for Lumia 521 and 925, the two out of three Windows Phone that is currently available on T-Mobile right now, will be released OTA later this year. This is quite late considering AT&T has released the OTA update for many of its Lumia and the Update 1 full version is on its way as well, probably in September, before the Update 2 for October/November. I also would like to call out Verizon for not having any update yet about WP 8.1 or Lumia Cyan.
@DreamSSociety_ We are planning an update to WP 8.1 for Lumia 521 and 925 later this year. Keep an eye on http://t.co/zVFbFPUQUA ^JW

So, how do you feel about the delay, T-Mobile’s customers?
