As much as a “flag-ship killer” as this phone is, the Smartphone is also a buzz kill. From many controversial contests like mash your phone thing, to the invitation to purchase the phone, and now is the shipping problems. Earlier this week, we saw the company was having trouble shipping this phone out. This delay was caused by a software hole in the CyanogenMod, and it took them quite a while to fix it. Fortunately, the problem seems to be resolved and if you got an invitation to buy this phone, yours might be in shipping today.
Yesterday, OnePlu gave out a statement to explain the problem with the software and ensure buyers that “the CyanogenMod team worked very quickly and efficiently and the Open SSL issues have already been fixed. The first OnePlus Ones ship to early users with invites as early as tomorrow.”-which is today.
Before you get your hope up, this does not count as a confirmation that your order will start shipping today, but at least it does clear thing up, and ensure the people who have the invitation that their order will come very soon.
