While a lot of us still wondering if Cortana is coming to other platforms, Microsoft is still slowly rolling out, Cortana to Windows Phone 8.1 devices (and developers preview) to other regions than the US of A. Well, soon enough, Cortana is reaching to consumers outside the US.
For awhile now, when asked about Cortana availability outside the US, all we ever hear is “soon.” But as Marcus Ash, Group Program Manager for Cortana explains that she will be available for the UK and China in the matter of “weeks not months.” That is a very good news because since the launch of Windows Phone 8.1, people around the world has been going around to activate Cortana.
As of right now, we don’t have the exact date, but we can assure that if it is “not months,” it’s must be coming early July, if not the end of June.
